    This Master’s Degree program provides the skills needed to design and develop high performance cars and motorcycles.

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 95/110, ranking in the top 35% of students
    • Appropriate knowledge of the basic sciences (mathematics, computing, statistics, physics and chemistry) and basic engineering subjects

INTENSIVE, SHORT-TERM STUDY PROGRAMMES

    Description:

    The High School Advanced Engineering Summer Program – Italian Motor Valley Experience offers a 2-week university experience focused on cutting-edge automotive trends.

    Designed for high school students, this summer program provides students with an understanding of the fundamentals of high-performance vehiclesthrough a deep immersion in lectures delivered by university professors and by exploring world’s leading automotive companies.

    The Italian Motor Valley Experience offers an immersive experience, a variety of academic and business contents aimed at understanding high performance vehicles and engineering subjects, and cultural activities to discover the Italian Motor Valley.

    This MUNER summer school is hosted at the Department of Engineering Enzo Ferrari, Modena, and organized by University of Modena and Reggio Emilia with the collaboration of Fondazione Marco Biagi (UNIMORE) and Victoria Languages and Cultures.

    Requirements:
    1. Outstanding high school academic record;
    2. STEM background: high achievement based on curriculum and extracurricular activities;
    3. Basic knowledge of physics and trigonometry and minimum GPA 4 (or equivalent);
    4. Student motivation statement, commitment and positive attitude;
    5. English proficiency: language advanced certificate or native speaker status.

    Description:

    The Summer School – Women in Transport, organised with the support of the Fondazione Marco Biagi, offers a full immersion experience in the automotive world with the aim of raising awareness among young women and bringing them closer to the transport sector, overcoming gender stereotypes. The initiative also offers incoming orientation activities for the Masters Courses offered by MUNER.

    The program is integrated with practical experiences of the history and innovation of the Italian automotive sector, as well as local beauty and culture.

    The initiative is endorsed by Women in Transport – EU Platform for Change, the European Commission’s platform to promote women’s employment and equal opportunities for women and men in the transport sector.

    1. Fluency in English

    2. Be enrolled in or have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/STEM subjects

    3. Statement of motivation and commitment

      Candidates will be selected on the basis of the Scientific Committee’s final assessment of the above criteria. Selected candidates will be informed by e-mail about the registration procedure.

    Description:

    This School aims to improve the training of future engineers, mainly coming from all the curricula activated in the Master’s Degree in Advanced Automotive Engineering, Electronic Engineering for Intelligent Vehicles and Electric Vehicle Engineering.

    The main objective is to provide students with specialised knowledge in the mechanical, automotive and production fields, tailored to the needs of the thriving automotive industry, which is particularly present in the Emilia-Romagna region.

    15 days of intensive training in the University Residential Centre of Bertinoro, which will provide students with board and lodging.
