MUNER participates in the FIM “Women in Motorcycling” Campaign

MUNER – Motorvehicle University of Emilia Romagna is proud to participate in the FIM “Women in Motorcycling” Campaign, whose values and goals are also ours.

The FIM Women in Motorcycling Commission (CFM) was created in 2006 with the mission to increase the number of women involved in all related motorcycling activities and provide them with better opportunities and possibilities. Promoting the presence of women in motorcycling activities and giving them the chance to be part of the wide motorcycling family is their main goal.
The “Women in Motorcycling Campaign” includes the production of a documentary, in partnership with WebsEdge, that explores the history of women in motorcycling, from early pioneers who paved the way for egalitarian opportunities, through to women in 2022 that are inspiring the next generation of female talent.

MUNER has always believed that talents can not be confined to stereotypes. That of the most diverse workforce is not an opportunity that the automotive world can miss, on a trivially numerical level but even more on the side of enrichment.

Over the years our reality has been committed to promoting female vocations, in particular through the creation of Women In Transport, a summer school entirely dedicated to women engineers.

For MUNER, equally for all our partner companies and universities, the few but bright examples of women who already shine in key roles in the Motor Valley are only the first steps, to be followed by inspired passionate engineers who will bring new perspectives and unexpected solutions towards forward-looking innovations.

Investing in diversity and uniqueness means investing in everyone’s future.

We have chosen to participate in this project to inspire students in STEM, to feed passion for motorvehicle’s design and manufacturing, to increase the quality and quantity of trained young people and educate the future women in motorcycling.
