High School Advanced Engineering Summer Program - ITALIAN MOTOR VALLEY EXPERIENCE
Overview
The High School Advanced Engineering Summer Program – ITALIAN MOTOR VALLEY EXPERIENCE offers a 10-days college experience, exploring worldwide leaders in the automotive industry. During this summer program, targeted to high schools, students will be trained at understanding the basics of high performance vehicles, with a deep immersion in engineering lectures held by university professors.
OFFER: an immersive experience focused on the automotive industry, offering a variety of academic, business and cultural contents, aimed at understanding high performance vehicles and engineering subjects.
TARGET: high-school students with strong STEM fundamentals and highly motivation. Students must be 16 years of age at time of registration.
DURATION: 2 weeks program, JULY 2nd – JULY 15th 2023
LOCATION: On-site in Modena at the department of engineering Enzo Ferrari, Emilia Romagna, Italy.
ACTIVITIES: classes, seminars and workshops held by MUNER (Motorvehicle University of Emilia-Romagna) professors and professionals from companies of the automotive sector; activities in collaboration with Muner partner companies; cultural activities in collaboration with Victoria Language and Culture – Associazione culturale. All activities will be held in English.
PARTICIPANTS: min 20 students (16+). Places will be assigned based on candidates evaluation.

Admission Process
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Outstanding high school academic record;
- STEM background: high achievement based on curriculum and extracurricular activities;
- Basic knowledge of physics and trigonometry and minimum GPA 4 (or equivalent);
- Student motivation statement, commitment and positive attitude;
- English proficiency: language advanced certificate or native speaker status.
