High School Advanced Engineering Summer Program - ITALIAN MOTOR VALLEY EXPERIENCE


The High School Advanced Engineering Summer Program – ITALIAN MOTOR VALLEY EXPERIENCE offers a 10-days college experience, exploring worldwide leaders in the automotive industry. During this summer program, targeted to high schools, students will be trained at understanding the basics of high performance vehicles, with a deep immersion in engineering lectures held by university professors. 

OFFER: an immersive experience focused on the automotive industry, offering a variety of academic, business and cultural contents, aimed at understanding high performance vehicles and engineering subjects.

TARGET: high-school students with strong STEM fundamentals and highly motivation. Students must be 16 years of age at time of registration.

DURATION: Participants’ arrival on June 26, departure on July, 9 2022.

LOCATION: On-site in Modena at the department of engineering Enzo Ferrari, Emilia Romagna, Italy.

ACTIVITIES: classes, seminars and workshops held by MUNER (Motorvehicle University of Emilia-Romagna) professors and professionals from companies of the automotive sector; activities in collaboration with Muner partner companies; cultural activities in collaboration with Victoria Language and Culture – Associazione culturale. All activities will be held in English.

PARTICIPANTS: the number of places is limited to 20. Places will be assigned based on candidates evaluation.

REGISTRATION: notification of acceptance will be sent by email. Registration will be online and must be confirmed by immediate payment.

Admission Process


  • Outstanding high school academic record;
  • STEM background: high achievement based on curriculum and extracurricular activities;
  • Basic knowledge of physics and trigonometry and minimum GPA 4 (or equivalent);
  • Student motivation statement, commitment and positive attitude;
  • English proficiency: language advanced certificate or native speaker status.
Selection of candidates is based on the unquestionable evaluation of the scientific committee based on the abovementioned criteria. 
The selected candidates will be notified by e-mail about the registration procedures. 
The selection procedure closes when the maximum number of 20 enrolled students is reached.

  • Personal data and all the information given will be used only for candidates evaluation purposes in compliance of privacy statement;
  • The payment of the fee is compulsory to finalize the subscription. Failure to pay within the terms implies the renunciation of participating;
  • Payment must be made in Euro by credit card or bank transfer following the instructions that will be provided;
  • No refund policy is applied;
  • Students must be 16 years old at the time of registration, by the end of May.

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE: limited to 20 (partial tuition fee waivers). 
One-time payment of the participation fee of EUR 500 at the time of registration. 
The payment of the fee is mandatory to finalize the subscription. Payments are to be made in Euros, and procedures are notified by e-mail to the selected candidates.
